  Since it was founded, Oxiquim S.A. has considered that safety of its workers and productive process should be the line f course of daily work. To obtain that, even before than the law 16744 started to be applied, the company had specialists in the plant of Viña del Mar.
The substantive growth of the company which includes all the productive process, has obtained that each day , environmental and safety areas became more important, so, it is sure all the command lines internalized the line of course about these topics.
While years pass by, management is more professional every day and assumes world level systems. At early 90’s, our company was one of the forerunners in the implementation of a management system based on responsible behavior, which has been improved with the time and it has as central subject, the safety of the staff and environmental caring.
The starting point of this management system has made possible a significant decreasing in damages and accidents which still are under the average of national and international rates. This has allowed to establish a pointer of safety and environmental care, to supervise different activities of the company.
The accomplishment of these goals is possible by means of active participation of company collaborators who act like leaders in environmental care and safety, in these years, ASIQUIM has awarded continuously to Oxiquim, because of the accomplishment of responsible care program, as a result of a meritory work searching for objectives and goals, which backed the systematical development of the company to care about its staff and environment.
